Show welds in drawings
Tekla Structures shows the welds that you have created in a model as weld seams and weld marks in drawings. In drawings, you can add intelligent marks to model welds both automatically and manually. You can also add drawing weld marks manually, but these marks do not necessarily have an associated physical weld in the model.

When preparing welds, Tekla Structures bevels the parts to be welded using an anti-material cutting part. Tekla Structures subsequently deletes this cutting part. Tekla Structures displays weld preparations using cyan dash-and-dot lines. Some weld types and connections also automatically prepare the parts to be welded.

Tekla Structures 2019. You can modify the model weld object representation and appearance manually on object level. In an open drawing, double-click a model weld seam. It is easier to select the model weld if only activate the Select drawing welds selection switch. On the Content tab, select the desired Representation.

Weld Class
The Weld class represents weldings in drawing views that refer to actual welds in the model database. It has properties and methods to control the graphical representation of welding lines. Instances of Weld class cannot be inserted with code. These appear in drawings when views are created/updated. To modify its graphical representation, attributes of Weld class can use .welo setting files.
